Hello everyone! My name is Josh Adams and I am entering my fourth and last year of school here at UF. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management and a combined Master of International Business degree. I have a passion for building relationships, teaching, and working with people from all over the world. In addition to studying business and working at the ELI, I am also involved with Christian Business Leaders and Gators For Israel. During my free time, I love to hang out with friends, go to the gym, play sports, travel, and spend time outside. I look forward to working with you all and to having a great senior year!

I was born in Miami but my parents are from Peru and Colombia. I have been an LA for a year and a half and I absolutely love it. Hello! I'm Zariah, a first year sociology major and Gainesville native. I absolutely love to travel and eat, but then again who doesn't? I got the opportunity to visit Cafe Friday when I was a freshman in high school. From that point on I was hooked. I knew ELI was where I was meant to be, and am honored to be a first time LA. My name is Jamauri Bryan and I'm a third-year student with a major in Family, Youth, and Community Sciences with minors in Non-Profit Organizational Leadership and Latin American Studies. I was born here in the United States, but my parents come from Canada and Jamaica respectively. I'm currently learning Spanish, but I hope to learn many other languages later in life! I also hope to visit many different countries in Latin America and the rest of the world as well! My hobbies include playing video games, going out with friends, and dancing! I'm in my 4th year at UF studying Anthropology and am also getting a certificate to teach English as a second language. I'm planning on teaching English abroad before going to grad school but I'm not sure where yet! I also spent a semester in Spain last year. My favorite thing to do is go to the beach!
Hi friends! I'm Gaby and I'm a 4th year Linguistics major with a Spanish minor and pursuing a TESL (Teaching English as a Second Language) Certificate!! This is my second semester as a Language Assistant and I am so excited to be back! I was born in Miami, FL to Nicaraguan and Salvadoran parents so I love meeting new people and learning about different cultures from around the world! In my off time, I like to drink boba tea, analyze different languages, play board games, eat international foods, travel the world, sing karaoke, watch all kinds of films, garden, juggle, and just have fun! I'm Mariam Mohamed and I am a fourth-year Women's Studies Major from Gainesville, Florida! My family is originally Egyptian but I was born in Canada and have lived in a handful of different places before moving to Gainesville in 2006 when I was 8 years old. I've always been passionate about social justice and activism, which led to my pursuit of a women's studies degree. I speak three languages: Arabic, French, and English. I love the beach, making new friends, playing the guitar, hanging out with my dog, and doing anything and everything creative. I'm new to the ELI and am already loving being an LA!
