Employment

Adjunct Lecturer

Teach one or more ESL courses that meet 3-5 hours per week for 6 to 14 weeks; participate in testing, curriculum meetings, and activities.  Must have an M.A. in ESL, TESL, SLA, Applied Linguistics or a related field.

Language Assistants

Language assistants are undergraduate or graduate University of Florida students who work with the ELI's listening/speaking teachers to plan informal communicative activities to reinforce the language objectives that are being taught in the listening/speaking classes. LAs work with the students and also accompany students on after-class and weekend social and cultural activities in order to help them meet Americans and learn about US Culture.
